got lots to do to the engine still

my arp head studs are in my 998 doh!!

so ill put the head on when i drop the block in the car.

i need to get some new oil cooler pipes fitted so i can put it in a better location.

need to tightne the flywheel bolt up and im goign to get a heavy duty clutch arm

and i still need to buy a dizzy so i can get it all running propperly, ive also got to strip and rebuild my carbs without any jets or chockes in so its easyer for the garage im taking it to to set it up.

and with all this ive still got to get my 998 out and paint my engine bay as it looks horrible.

so im no were near having it in the car and getting it running.

but ahh well.

on the plus side my dads just told me about a mate of his who welds rollcages for landrovers for racing, and he said he'd done one for a mini before which was having a honda engine in, and hes offered to weled me a multi point cage into the shell, as well as spray it for me as well as long as i get the paint, and i go up every time im home to help work on it. so im a very happy bee :D

will up date with pics as and when i can

Don't waste your time and money with a dizzy. Do it right and get megajolt on it!

gonna get me a nice 59d red aldon dizzy suited to my camshaft

plus with megajolt i dont know were to start with one and no one round conrwall is running one so i got no one to come and help me

+1 on the MegaJolt.

I'm pretty sure you could use a MAP system on this, and the advantages of MJ are huge. Easier starting, better tickover, better low down grunt, more midrange, more top end, infinitely tweekable, and above all else, waterproof.

If you got a MJ and a wideband lambda gauge on this car, you'd be able to tweek it yourself. Simple as!
