Cheers Danny I had a look for some plates but could not find them

Darren

heres the item code MFA338

i reckon these should to the job, they just might need a bit of felting to get them to sit flush against the webers, but with 4 of them you would be able to get and acurate vacume of the carbs

yeah ussualy there is like locking tabs but i have those locking washer thingys,

my box was built by pual inch who races in the mighty mini series
ands also a great engine builder situated in plymouth,
if theres a probllem with it ill just pop back and speak to him, but he did the same to my box that he would do to one of his race cars so i feel confident it will work

house move wont be for a while yet, but its exciting, new house is really close to newquay

i got tuns of garage space atm for the minis and parts its just all spread out which is the probllem, but this new garage were on about building at the new place is going to be wide enougth for my dads landy but long enougth for the cars to get inside and still do engine work, welding and what ever else needs doing.

and its situated up its own lane so its out of the way so dont have to worry about keeping the nabours up while im grinding away late into the night

Cool!! Paul Inch is a really good guy.. He was going to bore my block to 1380. And gave me a really good price £80. But because I live in the north of scotland the postage costs were huge. But ive got another one to get bored soon and I reckon a trip to the south coast might be fun. Oh and I really like the green engine. A good choice..

yeah hes really good only tuck him 3-4 days to do the work to my engine
which was

+20 over bore
new cam bearings fitted
30tho of the head for compression ratios
center machine strap
drilled for 11 stud head
dry deck addaptor to fit
and he also re tappted all the holes
and deep cleaned the whole block 3 or 4 times to get all the paint of and all the oil stains of as well

propper impressed with how quick and good the service was

yeah ive been watching your build thred AndyMiniMad its looking good,

well my plans are to get the cars engine done and in ready for begging of july as i want to attented the help for heroes run, so thats my dead line in a way, which i think is managable, gives me plenty of time to solve any probllems i might get.

like setting the engine up, thats the only thing im not lookign forward to right now

so any way blah blah blah

im still here in the uk on land for some reason but hay ho

so i reckon ill be home again this weekend which means im going to build my 7 port engine up completly and have it raedy to drop in the car i reckon.

and then the following weekend i reckon ill drop the subframe out clean up teh engine bay and prep the subframe and then maybe refit it and make sure every things is ready for the lump to be dropped in the follwing weekend.

and then from then till riv run ill have a nice running in period in the car i reckon

:P

then make an apperance and riv run show the engine of.

so that list of stuff i have spare , if any one wants any of it i can bring it to riv run

im aimign to get it all built up and running before riv run
