Got more done today
Found the brake master cylinder thankfully. I thought I might have to buy a new one.
That then got a good clean up and a lick of paint along with the one for the clutch.

Test fit! They look the part. I just need to get a plate for the engine steady from DSN and I'll get them fitted.

The post lady bought this lot for me today!

So once I have got some wheel studs at brooklands I can get the rear brakes built up.
and in my mini spares order that came a few days ago were the screws for holding the speedo bracket on so I fitted that as well!

I also got a few fuel line fitted today as the other was too small but I forgot to take any pics and I also started wiring brushing down the wiper motor ready for a lick of paint before it get fitted.
Other bit I did was patch up some bits of paint on the bush mounts for the rear subframe. Thats now drying so I can get the bushes fitted maybe tonight if not 2moz night and fingers crossed the rear subby by can go on sunday. Can hopefully have her rolling buy the end of Monday! Lets see how that goes haha.

Fingers crossed yea! I am hoping Jono is a boss at mini brake lines. I have put the one under the car on and have sorted others out to where I think they need to go but would like someone who knows better then me to go though it with me as brakes are something I want to make sure work properly haha.

Right well I sit here inside as its hailing out side so I have given up fitting the subframe for the time being. Thought I would sort though my brooklands haul and get some piccy pics.
Sorted it all out and I noticed this!

I asked for 8 studs for space red drum didn't notice I had been given 1 odd one until I get home. So thats a pain and something that will hold me back again!
Hope I can pop these on in-between showers.

I also picked up a blacking plate for the bulk head as mine went in with the car when it was getting painted but I never got it back, So rubber bits for the rocker cover, some fuel pipe and some bits to join up the fuel line.

Right well sadly progress was not as great as I thought. I had a problem with a stud in my rear subframe, The subframe had been sent to the body shop to be shot blasted and painted but while stripping it down they shred a bolt but rather then telling me or doing anything about it they just painted over it and let me find out when I went to fit it to the car. So thats now at the local garage there gonna try and get the bolt out with out having to rethread it but if they end up having to then so be it. Also having trouble getting the old barings out the top arms. They will not come out! I got the ones out the top arms on my dads woody but these ones are having none of it so for the time being I have ordered some that have already been refurbed that I just just fit straight on and then I will try and sort the others out and use them in the clubby when I strip that down.
Anyway I got myself a switch panel for a van which I am gonna clean up and give a lick of paint.

Then i got my lovely bit from Jon Betts.
Steering drop bracket

and I got a full set of extended seat mounts.

Saves having those naff little chrome things.
Still waiting on my wiring loom from minispares which I am hoping will be here soon so I can really crack on.
Thats it for now. Cheers.
