Right well seeing as over the past 4 years since I have taken this car to bits I have nicked parts off it to keep my clubby on the road I found I was missing some switches and the few I did have have gone all grey and didn't look very nice anyway so I bought some new ones. Defo look the parts for sure!

Another thing I had fitted to the car when I had her on the road was an Arrrooggga type horn. I always had it wired though the normal horn and just swapped horns over for the MOT but it did make me look like a nob hooting at someone if they cut me up lol. So I wanted to fit a separate button for that. As I won't be needed the heater cable hole on my switch panel I thought I would make use of that hole.

This little button fits the job and should look good i just need to drill out the hole a bit so it will fit. I need to buy a new button as while paying around trying to get it to fit I buggered it and the springs went flying everywhere haha. I have a few choke cables kicking around the garage so I'll dig one out later and fit that up.

I have a few more bits on order as well. Things are starting to come together although all be it not as fast as I would like as I have had a few issues with my daily at the mo. Anyway thats about it for now. Ta.

Jon, I've got a nice stainless steel push switch that would be a good horn button, and im fairly sure it would fill that indent up.. might not be the style you're after though..

Its finished 'Other then needing to replace the horn switch when it turns up' but at least it now fits in the hole. I am pretty chuffed with it. I need to find some nuts that go on the back on those black alan key bolts and I can do a test fit!

Got the switch panel in today and did a test fit of the seat mounts.

I gonna get some bolts and mount then in to the back on the crossbar as well.

One thing I have found is that I really don't like how the heater sticks out so much as I don't have a padded dash rail so I need to look in to ideas of how to solve that.

If anyone does any ideas on that let me know!

Thanks.

That switch panel looks awesome man!

For a newly painted car that hasn't even been driven yet, that's a lot of crud in the footwells :P

You could install one of the smaller aftermarket fan/heater things, and do away with the panel altogether?

Haha its not even that dirty but as the floors have a rough finish stone chip on then they do look really bad in those pics haha. Also does not help that I used her to store loads of bits before I cleaned them up.

Right well a box from mini spares turned up today. I got the rebuild kits of the radius arms so I can get those started. I also got 2 rubber cones so I have 4 new ones going on now as I already had 2 anyway.

But the most important bit is my new wiring loom!!!!!

It looks so small like this haha. I am looking forward to getting it all fitted though!
