Yea that seems like such a small update for what was basically a whole days work haha. Hopefully things will start to progress a bit more.
I have laid all the suspension stuff out now and am working out what bits I need to order.

Current list is 4 knuckle joints
a set of shocks (I have sorted those from someone on here I need to pick them up)
Rear Camber Brackets
and a pair of rear wheel bearings.
I am sure as I look thought mini spares site I will find other bits as well haha.

Right well its been chucking it down all day here which is not good but never fear. Few choccie eggs just to get my self going and then we braved the rain to get the front subframe off.
We then bought it in side and built up the whole lot in the conservatory haha.

First thing I had noticed is I had missed these when I was doing all the wiring brushing and painting so I did that first thing.

Here is the assembled subframe.

Got all that done but didn't really take many pic as I went along. All boring stuff anyway.
Then off came those brakes and on went the new 4 pot cooper s brakes.

Tah Dah!!!!

Now I had been worried as I know some wheels don't fit over those 4 pots. So here came the moment of truth would the ATS classics fit.
Thankfully they do!

So do the momos

I am now waiting for a break in the rain so I can go back out and fit it all up to the car!
Thats about it for now. Happy Easter! Cheers.

Looks bloody excellent mate!
I have never seen a set of those Momo's on a mini before.
I bet you didn't get a break from the rain to re-fit it after all. If its anything like it is here in kent, it's just getting worse.

Yea crap here. Still hammering it down. Maybe later this evening. If not I'll get up mega early and do it before I go to the car/show auto jumble I'm planning on doing.

Haha. Thats Boris. He just strolls around the conservatory doing his thing. I think he just wanted to come and see what was going on. He sat on my tool box for a bit then went back to sleep. No help at all really haha.

By that description, he must be a foreman. Well judging by my past experiences. Well down to a tee actually, even the part about falling asleep on your toolbox ![]()
