Looking at the yellow on the pre blasting photo's , Is it ex AA ?

No it's always been white I think that was the the yellow staining from the rust :D

long time indeed, would still love to bring my shell down to you guys.. gets used as our jig here at the moment though

glad to here it wont be standard, and the retro jap mini looks beautiful!

Ah yes, buying a mini7's engine would have been a much cheaper/faster way of building my engine lol  whats that going in then?

Well you know there's always a place for your car here.

Not sure what the 7 engine is for I bought it on bit of a whim :D but i'm sure i'll find a use for it.

Ah cleaver although i'm not sure how much use Emily will have for a winch. Do you have ramps going up into your pickup then?

Dan knows what this is but I've forgotten. Maybe it was on a spit on the assembly line.

I believe it's the pickup version of the rotodip hole from the saloons.

I've thought that myself but the hole doesn't line up with the one in the bulkhead by a long way. Seems odd to have such a cranked spit for no obviouse reason??

Ok todays update, I had a real busy day at work so decided to sort through all the new bit for the car rather than an evening of of grinding and welding :P

A lot more stuff than I thought we had so i'm chuffed. Last couple pictures are of the Australian Cooper S arches, we got a few sets of these sent over from MiniSport.AU earlyer this year and I think they'll look perfect on this.

We look forward to it :D the job will be made much easier once i've finished making the pickup jig.

We had a play around with a potential styling option this morning but Emily wasn't to happy about it when she got the pic we sent her. :)
