Found the boot in the loft, going to sand it all down and spray it up Vermillion to match the rest of the car, dont know whether to paint the boot lamp Vermillion or gloss black? Which do you think would look best?

Anyway heres the boot (No dents WOOOP! :w00t:

)

((Im not having the badge on the boot as i think it looks ace without))

Hello!

Been at the boot again, and took the grinder to it

pulled the lip back to reveal rust

Its going! Oh dear, oh and also where the number plate screws through there is also a hole and the metal is thin, sooo problems already

Anyway going to weld it up and filler out the high and low spots to get it Perrfect :teehee:

Just been sanding again...and some more sandind and more.... :ermm:

Ok just feathered in the sanding down and I ^wet n dried^ it for about 5 hours...Ouch

Once the rear is sorted Im taking out the engine and gearbox for a good clean up and to make sure everything runs as it should. Got a problem with the gearbox at the moment, wont change from 2nd to 3rd! :ermm:

Not so good news, garage has decided that "they havent got the right equipment to do the job, apparently "they havent got the correct clamps to pull the Mini out". So its not getting done their, thats for sure! Going to try another accident repair. Not so good hey...
