bit of an update
we had a bit of rust forming on the join between the front pannel and the wing. we treated the rust and flatted down an area.
we also pre warmed the panel so the paint would go off quicker as we were at stanford the next day
Once painted carried on heating it to force dry it. then peeled off the masking.
We ended up with second place at standford.
when we were at minis on the rec we finally managed to get hold of some early speedwell gauges! Yay!
I also a couple of weeks ago got hold of a later type speedwell rev counter as spares or repair as the redine needle was broken.
and after a top off a biro, a numberplate screw, superglue and a small brass screw.
all in all it wasnt a bad fix. should hold up allright.

Pick up is amazing, can't believe how quick you did the work. I've just started my pick up project and was wondering if you could help me out with some doors, be looking everywhere with no joy.
