Original JCG door furniture has the signature stamped into the handles (although early ones didn't have the sigs at all). The repro stuff on ebay has etched signatures. Also the Cooper badges on the winders are different as they have a slimmer red band around them - the originals have a wider band.
I'd be very suspicious of anything that claims to be NOS Cooper stuff as, unless someone just found a big box in their attic, it all got sold and used on cars years ago!
I personally think that the people passing this stuff off as the real thing need to have a long hard think about the way they are basically ripping off fellow Mini enthusisats of sizeable sums of money!!!

apart from the obvious metal finish, if you look closely the screws used are different type.

Ding Ding, Round 2! FIGHT!
Now I've laughed a little at angry men behind computer screens, I'm going to bed.
Have a good fight night
(P.S. I'd buy fakes and save a fortune

I wouldn't touch the seller with a bardge pole now!
He was asking advice. Not incriminating anyone. He didn't link to the items, so if everyone said your items were fake, nobody would know who was selling them, and judge them when making a future purchase. He used your picture to ask advice on how to tell the difference? Wow.
Your forum reply just portrays you as a bigott.
For future reference, the customer is always right they say. The way you answer your eBay questions is shocking business practice. If any seller anywhere answered my question like that I'd steer clear. Helps to impress the customer, let alone just make a good impression.
