Your life aint ruined yet so no need to put samritans on speedial 
They will fit, theres no issue there, its just where you think the standard arches will cover them thats all, chuck one one and see, if you haven't bought them yet then hold fire till you find out some more about fitments

No it's genuine, that age of Metro uses the same hubs as Minis.

The PCD is the same on the A-series Metty but you need to grind a bit off the hub which centers the wheel on the Metro... not an easy job to do properly, lots of people just cut it off, dodgy as hell.
Aside from that its such a huge job to make them sit like that, even Minilites are the same. People think you take the old wheels off and put the new ones on, thats completely not the case.
