i will be slamming my car and leaving it there i am quite lucky where i live as the roads are ok and any speed bumps i can avoid! going to keep it sensible as i dont want the arches rubbing etc if i go out on a track day. ive also got my rear anti roll bar to help!
i have now welded up the rear part of the boot floor, i did spot type welds and its turned out ok. i have however decided to cut the rest out because there is no way i can get the pattern boot floor to line up in the shaped spare wheel part. so i will get the rest as good as possible then cut it out.
i need to do this before i fit the rear valence so the floor is the next big bit to buy. then the boot area will be finished after a bit of prep work.
i have also finished cutting out the rear seat pan and pockets, this looks quite neat now and will give me extra room for the battery box i got from smudger, and maybe a bottle of a certain gas which makes you laugh

next.... the sills or lack of them!

I can slam the Mini round here, as I know the area... but if I got to a show in it, I don't know where the speed bumps are!!
Sills.... good luck dude!!!

well an exciting day in my project today, i took delivery of 2 carbon fibre bumpers from a guy called the carbon weezle, he has done the carbon on azzgranty's mini and also steve harris's hill climber.
i have to say they are the best things ever the carbon is so clear i cant belive it. i will put some pictures up some time soon so you can see how good they are!
cheers to azz aswell for organising the carbon!
i should now be adding a carbon boot floor and door cards to the long list.
as it is i havent done any thing to the car as i was in france at the week end. i have maybe changed my idea for the colour on the car though and think i may go for a gun metal grey now instead of black.

I'm making my own brace bars.
With my projest, I am on a budget, as I want to spend as much as I can on my engine.
So welding, spraying, engine building, etc, is all being done by myself
And Mowog.... You won't get it any lower than me
hehe dog is that the mini that went over the speed hump!

hehe the mini is really coming a long now! looks good andrew...
