Hey, I haven't got your PM yet, but I've also sold the flywheel and clutch assy. Sorry. :w00t:

Let me know if you need a cross pin diff though, might have one up for grabs soon if someone doesn't get back to me.

i have now kinda got a subframe but its still not wanted, wont be using that garage for parts again. i have ended up with an auto matchic subframe but at least it is in good condition. so i am now going to have to machine some spacers for the engine mounts.

i have been working on the boot floor and now have all the panels tacked into place so just need to weld them up.

i have welded up the old arch holes in the rear quarters too.

i have trial fitted the new boot i got from the L2B for only £35, it was a bargain as there is not a spot of rust on it. that seemed to fit well and the same goes for the rear valence.

i also quickly put a few panels on the car and got my brothe to hold them while i took a picture, i really cant wait to get then panles on but i want to get all the prep work done properly so the rust wont come back.

there are all the recent pictures

so to finish the boot are i need to:

weld all patches
weld drilled holes in floor
patch drain hole
grind back and treat rust in spare wheel well
fill in batterey box hole
gring back and treat rust under parcel shelf
remove strone chip from underside and treat with por 15

i did a bit to the car last night, i preped the parcel shelf and painted it, this involved getting the old glue off rubbing down any rust and welding up hole i had drilled to fit different speakers than what i am using.

the boot floor is now all tacked into place and just needs welding up.

its a bit of a worry but since buying my other mini last week end i havent done anything to the car, apart from rob bits from my parts store!

i am having some carbon bumpers made by another member of the forum which look absolutely brilliant.

i am also trying to sort out a bronze tint polycarbonate window set made, but i need to sort out what i am going to do with my front widows because i dont want to use the winder mechanisms because the weigh loads. i think i am going to use the front windows from the street fighter doors (not sure about using the doors).

i am also looking at using a rear beam axle but need to look into weather or not i will be able to use my anti roll bar with this set up.

i havent made much stuff for the car at work yet but when i am less busy i am going to have a go at makeing some:

light weight tower bolts
turn my discs down to 7.5" and groove them
make some calliper spacers
and the big one-

light weight billet radius arms, i hope to be able to lift the rear of my car off the ground ;D

i also spoke to mlm about my wheels but his supllier keeps letting him down, keep phoning every 2 weeks was the advise!

21 weeks today i have been waiting :xxx: >:( ;) :dontgetit: :sneaky:

about that boot re pairpanel you have put in....have you overlapped it with the original boot after cutting out the rusty bits OR have you cut it out completely?

As for the wheels.....time to go to fastcarl me thinks???

i cut the whole lot out and put the new one in, i am trying to do that with all the rust as i dont like patches.

it has been a really :dontgetit: job because the shape of the pattern panel did not match whats there. it also doesnt help that i cut the panel down so i only replace whats needed. its still only taked in placel. will weld it up next week i hope.

i was thinking that with the wheels but have got £100 quid deposit on the wheels, and at the end of the day they are what i wanted and its not like i can use them yet ;)

I spoke to the guy at p4p and they actually make the window kits for my doors.. they came from The Mini Door company so he quoted me £70 for the door windows... 4 pannels or £120 for the full kit in Smoke Grey.
