no damage just a graze, bloddy gave me a shock though

apart from that im getting on well today. i cut the whole of the inner sill out of the rear. i have also cut off the last remains of the over sill along the edge of the seam.
i have cut out the rust and patched the area that would be in the rear pocket and i am now preping inner sill area ready for metal to go in, i hope that i can get the rear bit done as that means tommorow when i am hungover i can fit the roll cage and have a play about with seat positions!!

i will put up plenty of pictures of the dash rails vanman thats if they turn out as good as i think they will!
minicento i know what you mean about the order, i wasnt going to get it done but then i changed my mind half way through. the other thing is that i thought it is easier to see the rust when it is well rusty, if all the metal was primered i may miss some bits.
on with progress, i welded up half of the rear inner sill and the cage is now fitted into the car. i need to buy some more nuts and bolts before i can mock any of the cage extras as it still needs to be fully pulled into its final place.
the one bonus i had today was that because i removed the rear pockets the cage went in easier and i didnt have to tornquet the rear legs, which means i can now have a cross in the cage like i wanted. down side is i need to order more tube now!
i can also weld in the harness bar instead of boltin it in which makes m happier too!

rust gone from inner sill and half is now welded up.
rollcage inside the car, just waiting to get more mounting plates and bolts so i can finalise position.
seat mounts fixed into place.
im just waiting for my boss to arrive then i can modify the steering colum to suit my new seating position. i also need to fit my pedals back into the car so they can be modified.
i have also cut the extra bits of roll cage tube to the rough lengths needed, then once i have measured up fully they are going away to be welded up.
today i have been wire brusing the seams of my subframes ready to be welded and am marking up and pilot drilling the lightweight/ weakening holes. i need to finish them and make templates for the bits to be triangulated so they can go away to be done tommorow.
oh and i thought id put up a pictures of the other mini in my life
