i wish i didnt have to pack my car away and roll it out of the garage every night, between us we would be ok!

next is to get some more bolts and plates so ican finalise the position of the cage, then i can measure and cut up the new sections and also get my steering colum extended and fit the boss.

yeah welding is nearly done, thats why i have started on the fun stuff!

oh yeah forgot to say i am no longer going to tubb my rear arches, due to a whole load of things. think i should still be able to get it quite low, anyway i cant have it too low other wise my diffuser wont fit :xxx: :)

why is there a problem for mot?

the design of the carbon one means it shouldnt be too difficult to remove for the MOT :xxx:

and its race proven!

Oh mine was designed to be removable! but then its getting it past the local plod!

It was a problem for MOT due to pretuding beyond the bodywork and the fact its not exactully safe the have on the back of a car......

Thats what the MOT'er said, personally, I said as long as the edges are rolled, there are no sharp edges, and I said mine will follow the same lines as the rear valance... so it looked right, but no he just pulled a face and said no, its not legal for the road......

that site you posted looks like they do some very nice stuff shame they dont do a full mk 1 two piece front end. i like the idea about having a rear diffuse should look great you dont see many minis with them on and i'm sure that will help with Handling.
