yeah i find it good to type out a list, helps you go through in your mind what needs to be done! im gonna be busy, i want to try and get most of that done before x mas. and at least get it to the shot blasting stage!
at least you wont forget where you put it

does the "never ending list" actually end???

surpose thats half the fun of a mini.. you never get bored!!
liking the quick release boss, had one of those on my list for ages but there soooo expensive (for a good/safe one that is)

if not done much this week apart from earn money to spend on the mini. i did a 63 hour week, so im really tired, but can afford to buy some more bits!
i got my subframe back from my mate adam aka clubbymeup. he did a quality job and has seam welded and drilled some lightweight holes (not gonna save much but hey looks cool)

thats a heritage frame i did all that too aswell. lol

i have also got done the final positioning of the seat and the rear section of the roll cage
the seat is as far back as i could get it and low down too, should help with the center of gravity and makes me feel comfortable too, the pedals arnt too bad but i will have to re angle the slightly.
i took my steering column into work but because we have been so busy i didnt get a chance to do that! :'(
i have started just taping bits of tube to the cage so i can get a general idea of how its going to be, i also spoke to the bloke that will be doing the welding on the cage so thats all sorted. tomorrow i will finish the front section!

i put a dash rail in so i can see what level i will put my dash bar in as i still want to use the standard switch gear location albeit slightly modified.

my other mini also broke down and i had to fit a new coil and distribute with all new bits, i ahd a few hours of head scratching but it seems to be ok now!
i am going to look at a body shop and maybe get a quote tommorrow, i have been recomended a local place and its looking like the will be painting the car if the price is right.
i have also de burred the holes in my rear subframe so thats ready for painting, i just need to decide what paint i will use.
in the car i have cut to size the roll cage the dash bar, door bars and rear brace. i need to fabricate some brakets for these and then cut the diagonal and harness bar.

i really dont want to spend £400+ to get a decent head, so i am going back to my plan of doing all the head work myself which will still give me a decent spec, just not flow bench proven!
and then spend the money i save on this! (well some of it anyway)
