Coming along nicely I see...

The weathers been to ******* to do my shell...
So I'm building enignes atm :(

Its looking like yours is going to be a mental machine to race against... I will still take on at dragwars! I guess for you its a question on how long I can wait :xxx:

You still going 1380, with a SW5 and a 5port head?

yeah its going to be a full on track attack. my time limit is now non existant so its just going to be done when its done, so you may be waiting a long time. you will have to catch me at a track day if you want a real whopping!

engine spec has changed.
hopefuly swiftune will be sorting the head and cam out for me, just got to save up for the deposit, but it wont be a sw5.

ooo your getting like me now... keep changing the engine spec... lol
Whats the preposed spec?
Still going 1380?

And as for the Trackday whooping... Bring it on :xxx:
Mine is kinda designed for Street type tracks :( Unless you have decided to go Coil Overs, ours "should" handle near the same... (just drivers "prefrances" that'll be different)

ive been on this spec for a while now, since i spoke to swiftune when i was getting the seven porter, just didnt say anything as i wanted to sort everything out on the spec its going to just sensible mods to get good power, eg worked crank, ligthened rods apr bolts sc cr box posibly a trannex LSD and a swiftune head.

well wait and see what happens with the suspension, its all proven stuff im going to be doing. its all going to be in the set up, getting it corner weighted and camber and caster angles optimised. there is a bloke on the KAD forum that does a full set up for less than £150 so i think i will take the car to him. i also will have pretty good weight distribution and a very low center of gravity.

i dont think you need to have coil overs to have excellant handling just look at what the miglias run: hi los, uprated dougnuts, two way adjustable dampers and anti roll bars. its all in the set up.

You have my way of thinking!
I'm using adjustable camber/caster brakets on everything, so my geometary is completely adjustable, along with hi-los, standard cones, adjusable GAZ Shocks... and 10" wheels, and same as you, my CoG is low also!

But yep I'll deffo take you on! :(

yeah it seamed so wrong cutting all that out but your car just looked so good i had to do it. ive got a mix of your pictures and measurements and also a few pictures of bill sollis' miglia to go on!

i got a steel bumper lip from mini spares today which i will be riveting to the front end, it was the neatest way i could think of to attach the bumper. and also so new eye bushes for my dampers as the other ones were looking a bit rubbish!
