The boot floor looks very nice, but I hope you don't mind me saying, I don't think the mirrors look that great, the distortion in the weave spoils them for me.

for somereason my camera took really bright pictures of the floor, it doesnt really look that grey! and the is masking tape all around the edges of it in the pictures as well!

mad4minis i guess you are speaking from experiance there then, i think i may have already taken out more than i needed, i will find out in a minute when i go and finsh fitting it.

i stayed late at work today and milled the top off my cnter main strap, in preperation for the mian strap going on, just need have the last little bit taken off on the surface grinder, oh and get a crank!

just read most of the thread and i have got such a carbon bug too now. Now its a question of wats not goin to be carbon for me. Good luck with the build, looks like its gonna be one hell of a feature car when it's dun. Hopefully i'll be able to do sum projects like this in the future. Still not sure why you'd stick with an A-series if u wanted reliability, performance AND longevity but each to their own.

Keep up the good work

Sam

im a bit disapointed as my new carbon front end didnt turn up, ah well should be here monday.

im going to buy some drill bits tommorow so i can finish off light weighting the subframes and im going to triangulate the front frame aswell. ive found a smart tool in demon tweeks aswell for profileing the ends of rollcage tube so i can get the cage finished!

still not had the car sandblasted altough it is basically ready to go for that now, just a few litttle bits to do which i should get done tomorrow.

i have fishished de burring my block and main caps now and also have the center main cap and strap ground now.
need to sort out my rods and crank but i will have to do that next month (no money), and then i will be all ready to start preparing my short block.

i have also finally decided on my dash which will be a curley carbon ASAD EVO 2 carbon dash like this

below is not a good picture but...

and also i shall be using an st700sr which is well cool, i will have a white face with 0-8000 rpm its got shft lights and can tell you 0-60 and 1/4 mile times aswell. i will however have to save quite hard to be able to afford this set up. more time delays!!

yeah its in a few of the minis that im getting ideas from and its just perfect, at a price though.

im also going to see if curley have had the main dash bits of that dash returnd because of minor imperfections or something and then get it flocked on that bit and have the pod carbon, may save money, will look good!

it will be road legal and im going to use it at weekends and that, but yeah i want to get it on the track and the strip see what it can do!
