i spoke to ian curley as well and asked him a few questions about bits and peices, i was really pleased because he was very helpful and told me everything i wanted to know. sorted out a few of my problems that i thought i may have had and i now know i will be definately using a curley dash and air box.
i should have asked them for sponsership, rekon they will have had around 2 grands out of my by the time i have finished.

i also spoke to roll center today and im now un decided on my cage, he said it wasnt a good idea to use a bolt in cage as a basis to go on as the are not such a snug fit as a weld in cage, and he said i should start with a miglia spec cage. but thats nearly £400 and doesnt have the ends profiles so i would have to get it fitted proplerly. and i spent loads on this cage. im going to fit it all in tommorow and have a measure up and go from there.
if not its for sale OIRO £275 for front and rear FIA SD 6 point.
gonna try and acctually do some work on the car tommorow, got to prepare the passengers sill to go on, then im going to fihish welding up all the unused holes that are all over the place.
cage getting bolted in properly and see whats going down!
make up template for the baulkhead to send to the fabricators.

getting a bit bored with the project as there are just so many bits still left to do on the shell.
i made a carbord template of the baulkhead box.
have a bit of a spend up on ebay to make me feel better, so far i have got side repeaters and a clutch return spring! more bits to be one by the end of the day hopefully.

I am in exactly the same mood, although, I did have a 3 hour tart up session on my engine today, I don't feel like doing anything at all!
But keep it up Andy, don't waste a good project
