this evening i have, albeit with a little help turned up the ends of my rose jointed brace bars, so i can get these welded onto the tubes and also i will get my steering boss done as the same time.

on the shed front i have started lifting the old bricks up, it takes ages to do as i have to pull them all up put them in a wheelbarrow move them a couple of meters and then neatly stack them, i rekon i got about 2 meters sqaure done tonight.

to give you an idea of the area i have to play with, here is a quick picture

Wish i was allowed a workshop!! :) All ive got is a garage that has to go back to being a garage once the cars are finished (will have to see how long I can make that last ;D ) But i doubt i can get any machinery/more tools in though.

yeah it couldnt have come sooner, i really dont like the idea of the car on the drive and having to fit any expensive parts.

the down side is once the car is finished my dads wants it for all his woodwork tools and stuff.

so when the cars finished i will be turning into a builder again to lay my own driveway down the side of the house ;D

Turbo bulkhead :) thought you make a nice custom one up, so you can sit engines further back, or fit "bigger" engines :)

na id rather not mess about with engine positioning the turbo box means theres more room for the exhaust to keep cool, and there is room for a turbo to be added in the future if i want to.

the upper miglia style baulkhead box will give me more room for things.

oh i didnt know you could get a 'bigger' a series, because thats how this car will always be powered!

well it feels good to get on with the project again, i know why im building the workshop now, its just rubbish dragging all my tools onto the drive!

any way i have been getting on with the turbo box i bought it from the guy that sells them off ebay.

the tpyr in the link is the flat bottom style i went for one with a slant, but anyway if you need one he is the guy to buy from they are seem welded to add strength and are really good quality

ebay link for box
