Yeh that does make sense dude, i race RC cars at national level which i know sounds queer but it has taught me a bit about camber and toe and the like. My clubman is standard at the minute with drums on the front and no adjustments so whatever the standard camber of a mk3 clubby is thats what my car should have, i don't really want to change from the original wheels and i definately don't want to if it involves arches because i'm trying to keep it as standard as possible. I'm sure in time i'l be upgrading to disks on the front but at current the car is standard. I'l have to have a look into alloys and there offsets and work it out that way i guess, although the JBW Cosmic Replicas would in my opinion look saweeeet on my clubby haha.

Cheers for the advice though that's given me more of an idea on what i need to look out for when changing alloys ect :)

I think the cosmics will require arches with disks, but I am unsure, if they are the same offset as the original ones anyway!

Nah not queer I raced my hot bodies lightning stadium pro for a while, and have my tamiya tt01 chassis for drifting :) all good fun for sure :)

If yours is that original, I wouldn't mess with it to be honest, getting rarer and rarer in that state now, i guess you could say the same for mine, but I have everything to put my car back to as it left the dealership!

Cheers for the nice comments guys!

This thread kind of dies off every once in a while, nice to get some feedback :)

I have a fair few jobs to be getting on with once my order from minispares arrives (ordered exactly 1 day proir to the sale - what a tool!)

New rear brake cylinders
New braided flexi pipes all round
New adjustable bottom arms
New tie rods
New track rod ends
Modifying rear brackets
New wheels and tyres
Build new engine
Remove old engine
Re-spray bulkhead
Fit new engine

Shouldnt take too long :D

to be honest this thread makes me want to go out and buy a clubby estate that I can just do a few period/subtle mods too. I just have pics in my head of what mine would look like ha.

Bad update:(

Some racking collapsed in the garage, wing dinted. And the bonnet too with paint damage,

Hopefully the dint in wing will be able to be got out, but the bonnet is going to be resprayed!

Major bummer
