Noddy has been forgotten over winter, but I am currently building a shed so i can clear out the garage so there will only be the car and a bench in there!
I am picking up the short engine from Rob Walker next Thursday so i can cracking on with that.
Also i am about put my name down for the Retro Run, so basically I will be a busy boy!
If you like "retro stance" or "mini mk3.com" on facebook you may have already seen this pic, my first real attempt at editing a photo, enjoy;

So.....
After my reacent snowboarding trip to Val Thorens, bout time the mini had some love.
All engine ancilaries have been stripped ready for its removal,
Rear brakes/suspension also stripped however not all fun and games there....
http://www.theminifo...r-bracket-woes/
Also i noticed the passanger side rear wheel bearing seemed a little sticky, I whipped it off and noticed that the hub was rubbing lightly against the brake back plate, is this a symtom for a knackered bearing???
More picture updates will come :)

So,
An update, firstly not exactly to do with Noddy, but I attended Donington Historic Festival in my Dads Triumph STAG.
I took a few pictures and edited them, so here they are......
Still a newbie with cameras and lightroom, comments welcomed :)

Last weekend, Dad and I tidied out his garage so I will have somewhere clean and tidy to build my engine.
It took a long old time to clean and tidy!
Back to today,
Got the Crank in,
measured from the top of the piston to the block face, 21 thou to be machined off, and now its all apart again!

Always had a soft spot for clubby estates.
Lovely car, engine is looking very nice indeed, twin carb manifold looks sexy!
I also love your wheel collection!
