Love this car!

Thanks mikey k.

Well, last Thursday after working in Bournemouth for 4 days I returned to the car to sort out the clearance issue and fit the engine.

I got one of those things done!

Unfortunately every single pair of pot joints I own are at my dad's house! Nightmare. And unfortunately I am currently back in Bournemouth again this week. So no progress until Thursday night again!

It says on the fan. If the side that says engine is pointing to the engine then you've nailed it ;)

It would appear you are right, fortunately I have another, I'll swap it tonight before putting the engine in :)
Thanks for the heads up

So, oil seal replaced and fitted correctly. The fan has stayed the way round that it was currently fitted as this is how the original one was fitted, so many mixed messages on that one!!

So pushed the car out, it looks so small.

Then hoisted up the engine, also this is my work mate Tim, he has a MKiii midget woth a hotted up A-Series, I am sure pictures of the cars together will follow soon :)

And in....

And if only it really was that easy, getting those mounts lined up resulted in me cursing the car far far to much!!!

I have Monday of work so hopefully a big update Monday night :)

Let me know what you think, especially about the fan fitmemt!!
