Apple put more time money and effort into there products than anyone else

Apple buy the parts to make their products so good from other companies like samsung and LG rather than develop their own.

They spend something like £8bn on samsung parts for their iphones and the screens on ipads are made by LG.

This is why it kills me when people act like apple are some sort of god company that cannot be matched

apps aside, i like that theres so many gadgets out there iphone compatable just plug it on and off it goes (mp3, videos etc) is very versatile. and everyone loves gadgets

Watch the iphone get destroyed in every test. The speed of browsing on the S2 is on another level and screen on the iphone is dull in comparison as well:



Theres a second part to it as well.

Also about apps - Since so many people are now on android, the app manufacturers know that the demand is there - So for every app you can get on iphone - Theres an android version too.

I know i'm really hating on apple here but i'm just fed up of people getting ripped by apple because they make you think there is nothing better out there.

My S2 is costing me £25 a month and the phone was £50 - I get 750 mins, 5000 texts and 500mb internet. Even though iphones are the same price to purchase outright - They're about £15 more a month to get anywhere near that deal and even then, a lot of contracts want you to pay £100 or so for the phone. But people still pay this because they believe they are getting the best possible when they're not. I'm not saying apple don't make very good products because they really do - But what i'm saying is that they're a rip off because people are blinded by their marketing.

Yes the iphone 5 will come out and wow everybody again. but 6 months down the line samsung or another manufacturer will also bring out they're latest model and blow it into the middle of last week.

Yeah but the iPhone 4 is getting old now. The Samsung Galaxy S 2 hasn't been out long. Wait till the iPhone 5 is out then compare the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S 2.

I'm not just saying I prefer the iPhone 4 because I have one, but to me every other smartphone like HTC, Samsung etc are trying to keep up with Apple... lol, keep trying!

Google it its been everywhere for most of the year. Last year they spent £8bn on samsung parts for their products and a company reverse engineered an ipad when they came out and found it uses an LG screen.

Apple do go to samsung for there parts but all companies go to other companies for help and parts ( Its nothing new ) there are more iPhone users than any other Make of smart phone in the World. In my opinion apple wins hand down with all there products ( I have a iMac,iPhone,iPod and a Apple Tv ) . I am assuming that the haters on this forum don't have many up to date apple products because if you did you would feel different .

Yeah sorry I didn't make my point clear, they might use other companies products, but you make it sound as if they buy every component from other companies and just bundle them together, stick an apple logo on it and bobs your uncle.

I swear by apple.. iPhone, Macbook, iPod.. it's all wonderful!

I can't stand being on a windows computer now, it's so ugly and cluttered and it's the same for any other smart phone.

Apple just know what they are doing and they do it first.

Yes I know that loads of companies do this, however the point I'm trying to make is the fact that many apple lovers seem to think that nobody apart from apple is capable of producing products which compete with iphones and macs - When the fact of the matter is that without these other companies, apple wouldn't have the tech to make their products so good.

Also the amount of users a product has only proves that apples products have very good marketing, it doesn't mean their products are more proven or any better than everything else out there.

Its only opinion though at the end of the day and everybody will have a favourite that they swear by.

I'm the opposite to analogue - I'm really not a fan of apple and can't stand using their products and computers and would much rather use windows and phones like samsungs as opposed to macs and iphones.

If anything its the price that really gets me, you pay an absolute fortune for macs and macbooks and they'll perform no better than a mid range laptop made by toshiba or another decent laptop manufacturer. Yes they're more aesthetically pleasing, but it doesn't justify the costs at all I don't think. And like I said earlier, the price for some of the iphone contracts work out at an extra £350 over the 2 year contract period and on some of them you still don't get a free phone and the actual minutes and txt's you get are about a third less.

I know this as its only recently I've come to renew my contract and I was blown away by how much extra you pay for iphones and get less - Just for the sake of having an iphone! I couldn't find a contract less than £35 a month where I got the iphone for less than £100.

read somewhere that the iphone 5 shouldve been called 4gs as its basically the same as what they did to 3g -> 3gs.... same shape etc just upgraded the gubbins inside.

also read somewhere that apple were gonna make some sort of 'mini iphone' which would be physically smaller and lacks a few features so basically and ipod size phone. they would do a 'basic' and 'pro' model with the components being a different quality to each other to make the difference in price.

I'm sorry but that is not true. Apple computers (IMacs ) do not need any anti virus software where as with windows computers you may need to spend £80 on anti virus software and still get some viruses. And as far as your cost point you pay for quality with Apple all there products are maid from Metal and on windows computers of a same spec you just have cheapy plastic. Also Apple products start up slot faster than any windows computer . So the points you have maid are not really valid. May I ask how old you are ?

Apple is the best out there . FULL STOP
