looking at more A series based and at very most an engine adapted to fit an A series box. so no, no and no XD

V4 engines arnt really done now, essex V4s are kinda obsolete now, V5? probably limited due to lack of development for horseys..

You mad! Thinking more like the old BDA that had casings and additions to make it fit the a series gearbox

Maybe do this with the ford duratec engine? I like that idea!

All about ze clubbys!!!

Oooh no, too racy for that.. Would be nasty! Can't have a mini daily driver anyways. I'd kill it!!

Really lookin into a ford duratec on
A mini box. Or even a RWD set up from
A caterham! About the same length!

Still waiting for that cylinder head :P......

On a more serious note, I don't think that RWD is that great for a Saloon sized mini.

The wheel base is to short, the back end would be coming round to say hello every time you flexed your big toe, If anything 4WD.

No idea. Would be cool though!! Ether have to have a turbo box or stick the brute out the bonnet. I'd choose the bonnet!!

Around 130 std. Turbo I'd want to make 240 ish reliable powrs

That would be a monster engine and probably one of the fastest a series engined minis on TMF.

Here you go Turbo KAD head mini.

There was a cheap Standard 1275 Sprite carb model on ebay with mk1 rear lights and a Mk1 grille for £1250.
