its a car.

people will love it, just dont be suprised if minis start getting damaged, like robin reliants did after their episode on those.

I bet you won't be saying that when some pikey starts jumping up and down on your car or puts a brick through your window or kick the door panels in because they think it's cool as Top Gear destroy these silly little cars! I have some friends down south who own Marinas and other BL cars and after Top Gear started destroying the cars, other peoples BL Classics started getting hammered in the street by Top Gear watching Neds.

To be fair i think the three guys all have a soft spot for the mini. Watch this old top gear clip, Jeremy has high praise for the mini:



No doubt the cars are going to be thrashed and modified for insane challenges like those bike boats they created in Vietnam, but i suppose there is nothing we can do! And im guessing the Allegro is the 'back-up' car?

The car wasn't scrapped. When we were looking for our Mini we visitied http://www.gcminis.co.uk/ in Swanley at the end of October... we chatted to the owner for ages and he was telling us how the researchers/car hunters bought a red Mini from him that was going to be used in the Xmas Special in India. He had the Mini in his Showroom for quite a while, so that would be why it wasn't 'on the road'.
