My dad and I are doing this for the first time in my 1990 mini mayfair, I'll probably be driving but as I haven't passed my test yet (I'm only 17) he'll be alongside me! Any tips!?

You camping? If so, take a kind of floor mat with you and a duvet. A sleeping bag on its own is NOT comfortable at all. If you're not going down in a club then maybe a disposable BBQ. Not great food exactly but a lot of people do it.

^ That reminds me of a question I was meant to ask a while back. Does anybody use small portable BBQ's instead of disposable BBQ's? Mine has stands which keep it off the ground, I'd consider it to be a lot less of a risk than a makeshift stand for a disposable BBQ.

Starting to look forward to this, need to sort out my leaky carb and boot lock before though, gonna be a looooong drive with my little 848cc but I'm sure there's plenty driving further!
