I don't think you'll be able to do it in the morning, mate. All the cars will be lined up in a big-ass queue ready for the morning departure. Like this.
That's our Henry, fourth row in from the left, fourth car down and Mr Bump is directly behind him. I have that blown up to about 2' by 3'6" on our sitting room wall

I was sooo chuffed when I found that picture! In fact it was so amazing that I can remember exactly where I was when I found it! I was sat in bed at about 7.30am and thought I’d Google L2B. I then spent the rest of the day sending the link to everyone who knew me – I didn't half annoy some people, mainly those who refer to my Minis as tripping hazards!

Mine is fifth row from the right, fourth from the bottom. She also featured in another picture in the press, seventh mini back in the same sequence of minis as in the aerial view. This was during the successful world record attempt for the Guinness Book of Records.

This picture was used on the front cover of Martin Wainwright's book "A Mini Adventure"
I remember Mr Bump from the Regent Street Motor Show where my little poppet was also on show.

Yes you can line your car up in the morning and as long as you get up early enough, you'll still be in front of all the entrants who arrive in the morning when the gates open and haven't camped there overnight (and believe me it's not like you stand much chance of getting a lay in any way, with the amount of noise that will be going on). If you don't line your car up until the morning, it just means you'll be behind all the other cars that camped there overnight. It's not like you'll actually be at the back though, as there will still be 1,900 or so people in the que behind you!!

Buying a ticket off a member on here, emailing details through no problem.
But, seeing as I live mid-route can I join half way, or do I have to go up to CP to get my run pack??

Buying a ticket off a member on here, emailing details through no problem.

I believe you can collect your run pack after 1pm at Brighton

What are your "essentials" you're packing for the weekend/run (beyond toothbrush and spare grundies).....?
