Not to bad that. What thickness box? Thinner steel is a bit harder to weld, especially when it's not new clean stuff.

My mate's Lincoln welder draws so much power they're using a no2 phillips screwdriver bit as a fuse :blink:

I'm sure you've got someone teaching you but just remember thin stuff burns through easy. If it's old steel I'm welding to I pulse weld. Basically build the weld with lots of short tacks. Easy to show, hard to describe.

Esab workings... its the biggest for 240v

There is not enough carbon build up to be ark or splatter :D

Ok i stand corrected . just proves i cant weld, well i can spot weld but that's it, i had a go at welding the join on the inner wing
went great until i took the mask off perfest weld straight line but i had missed by 10mm ha ha ha i was gutted
