My mate's Lincoln welder draws so much power they're using a no2 phillips screwdriver bit as a fuse

I'm sure you've got someone teaching you but just remember thin stuff burns through easy. If it's old steel I'm welding to I pulse weld. Basically build the weld with lots of short tacks. Easy to show, hard to describe.

There is not enough carbon build up to be ark or splatterCurious, that weld looks like its been done with an arc welder and not a mig?

Ok i stand corrected . just proves i cant weld, well i can spot weld but that's it, i had a go at welding the join on the inner wing
went great until i took the mask off perfest weld straight line but i had missed by 10mm ha ha ha i was gutted
