Putting the mini aside, I thought it wasn't that good to be honest. Just didn't find it that gripping and entertaining as previous episodes, and I love top gear. Probs just me?

I'm sure it won't be the last mini destroyed in the name of entertainment. Let's not forget the Italian job....

Still, I enjoyed it.

Haha could of seen this thread coming.

Most people need to get off their high horse, it's an entertainment program and it was very entertaining to the millions that viewed it. They also trashed a much more valuable Rolls + Jaguar, I imagine owners clubs for them are up in arms too - there will always be some who moan about cars being destroyed, but as others have said it was entertaining and not every car lives forever. I'd much rather see a mini go on an Indian adventure with Top Gear and finish on a plaque than just be left to rot in grandpa's garden.

Very entertaining episode and I always enjoy watching those three mates muck about.

That was very...very funny,

And the mini front end being ripped off nearly made me cry to be honest.......................

With laughter haha

Dont get me wrong love the classic mini even though havent got one, but still very funny haha, so everyone who is going nana that was wrong, should'nt done that, how could they...there evil, Get over yourself will you, its just a bit light hearted fun. Its not like they sexually abused it, leaving traces dna all over its windscreen...hmm although that would make me chuckle....so yeh take the stick out your up tight arses...

Err...given that was filmed back in August/September, why has that mini that was abandoned in India, got a fresh tax disk on it and is still insured?

Dont you just love the DVLA, nice call! ITS NOT REAL!

For people who might of missed it:

Anyway theres no point arguing over spilt milk, the damage has been done.. and to be honest we all saw it coming! But still its good publicity for the Mini and there was nothing said against it. Taking the Mini out of the equation, this episode wasn't as good as the last Christmas special... what do you think?

My point is, I'm surprised they bothered to bring them back!

You also need to remember that most mini's end up with new panels on the front end anyway from rust so it would need them taking off eventually and they managed to get them off much faster than i was able to cut mine off

Tell you what I'd like to to have that mini and put it on ebay noting its history, can you imagine the kudos at the shows in the summer! Good as a magazine feature car? better I say does it really need much more than any other in need of resto? I'd have it without a question of a doubt!

I think if mini's have personalities sole call it what you like and I were a mini I would die inside if left under a cover in a garage never seeing the light of day! Much rather go on an adventure, I'd be shouting "Is that the best you've got, come back and finish me off" (anyone see the Monty Python Ref?)

Not the best Top Gear I've seen but, still funny all the same.

I'd put money on it that Hammond now has the mini in his collection, just like the little Opel, that he called Oliver, from a special a couple of years ago. You could tell that he really liked the mini.

.....sh I.T. for your company :D
