My best bit was the ridicuolously big grin on Hammonds face basically throughout the whole programme :) "it just sort of jumps from bump to bump" :D Pretty much just sums up owning a mini!

I thought that the program last night was a great advert to showcase the mini's durability and reliability, a middle finger to all the mini haters out there. and them destroying the car was obvious to me.

another predictable but entertaining episode from top gear.

anyone know when the new series is due to be aired?

felt it was a bit disrespectful sometimes: India a country which suffers from severe poverty and hunger and the three pillocks throwing food about at the start.

hit the nail on the head there ;)

Fact is India is better off than the UK. International Monetary Fund list India at No.3. The UK is 7th. The Indian economy is worth US$1.631 trillion. Not as poor as you would think.

You would think they would invest some money in teaching people how to drive on the right side of the road... :ohno:

they only changed it as they fitted a winch and therefor you cant have the 2 middle spots, so it was changed while they were doing there mods on the cars

yeah they may well have some of the richest people living there and have a thriving richness, but they also have some of the poorest and down trodden people as well. they have some of the biggest and worst slums in the world!

I dont really want to get into this - but your are kidding right!

25% of the indian population live on less than 1 pound a day. parts of the Indian population are the epitome of poor!

Talking of anoraks, did anyone else notice that they called the mini a Cooper Sport when clearly it wasn't?

I presume they looked at the retro fitted boot badge and thought they'd got a Cooper Sport, when in fact it was a Cooper with the Sportpack option fitted.

I'm just being picky but, as they say, it's all in the detail :shy:

When he called it a cooper sport, I looked at the seats and roof colour and thought exactly the same thing.

Loved the program, the mini losing it's frond end made me think of that yellow mini in the Australian movie.

I'm just repeating the facts. Take it up with the India government as to why there are so many poor yet the country is so well off.
