My overall feeling was that I could have got virtually everything the autojumbles were selling on here on the classifieds for about half the price. Suppose it's an ok situation if you go with a shopping list and some decent bartering skills.

For some reason though, I saw loads of alloys / wheels / tyre combinations that were really reasonable money - they seemed to be the bargains of the day...

I do like alot of smithys bits but am always reluctant to pay the price. I was looking at a set of head bolt stainless cover but walked away at £26.50. Only to find a brand new set still in the packet for £18 in the auto jumble as the previous owner had changed his mind. Winner!

I was also with a friend who was looking for a set of pistons, not much about though. We asked if Minisport had any to which we had a rude responce of "No, why would we bring those? You cant fit them in the car park so you may as well order online." I found that quite funny as I didnt relise people carried out gearbox recons, fitted cams and rockers in the car park. (All the other stuff they sold)

Over all not a bad show but by no means the worst.

Minisport customer service at it's best! With most other suppliers at shows, they will happily take your order for any parts they don't have with them, and then put them in the post to you (often at no cost to you).

So that's probably another customer Minisport have lost for good.

Minisport did that for me last year at no cost  One staff member doesn't make a company as bad as it may be.

Managed to get a second hand walnut dashboard for £20 in pretty nice condition which I think is a really good price considering I was planning on paying £80 for a new one. Got a good deal on some new carpet as well £30 plus £10 for underlay when I would have paid £40+ for just the carpet off eBay. Definitely quite a lot of overpriced stuff about too though.
