when i was 17, i had stage one, quite a few other mods and bucket seats and harnesses, my insurance on a 1275 was about 1200 first year of driving, 2nd year was 732 and now for no reason atall my 3rd year with 3 years no claims, licence for 3 years etc is £756 still quite cheap though alot of my m8s pay over a grand on 1 litres lol

I grew up in Spondon, my mate was in chad, but the nice end. It goes on things like car thefts, so often nicer bits near rougher bits can suffer. Just a thought, that said I wouldn't think Derbyshire would be high at all. You think of inner cities as the hot spots.i live in derbyshire, i know there are a few 'rough' places in and around derbyshire but were i live i wouldnt class as rough. it all just seems silly really

its pretty annoying really, iv spent 1300 on the car and im looking at double that to insure it, so all in all its going to cost me 3600 !!! not easy when your 17, i have 2 jobs i work 6 days a week and its all for my pride and joy! and then iv got things such as tax, petrol, parts im going to have to buy (joys of owning a mini) and then next years insurance!
but still no matter how much it costs i will pay it because i love my mini !
