well life was good up until about 20mins ago when i snapped a wheel stud clear off. so now i got 3 full wheel studs and half of one. i was doing the wheel nuts up and then. pop. off it came. not particularly happy now.
so my question today is:
1) how the hell do you remove an old wheel stud.
2) what size will i need (austin 1982 mini HL, all imperial stuff and drum's all round)
3) am i going to need any special tools. as i have little/no money what so ever.
cheers,
going to go cry now. :'(

remove wheel and drum
tap stud through backwards with hammer
get a new stud and it will just fit in without you having to take the pads off
push it as far back thru as possible and put on the drum and wheel and tighten it up
should be able to buy a new stud or you can get one from scrap yard

Re-torque it after 24 hours, as the stud may pull through a bit more with a bit of driving and make the wheel nut loose.
dose mean i need a torqe wrench 1st........arse. have to see if i can borrow one next time to stop me snapping anymore studs.
also seeming as i'm ordering a stud. what wheel nut will i need. as half a stud is stuck in the current one.
