seeming as i'm here too. anyone know how the fudge to take weel bearing out. i've tryed and there some weird rubber thing behine the hub.
just asking. seeming as i got to take the hub off. might as well grease it.

i have just snapped a stud too...
i have discs tho... can someone tell me if i need to remove the whole hub, or can i loosen off the flange and wiggle a new stud in?

you dont need to take the hub off but you will need to remove the disc to take the flange off.

can u tell me what tools ill need, do i need to undo the big bugger in the middle, or can i just undo the 4 bolts?
hoping to do this tomoro :s if i can get a stud...
n thats a good point, anywhere i could possibly get a stud from tomoro? lol

i just use a big 300mm adjustable spanner to get the castle nut off.
ahh good thinking.....
i was just gunna use a big hammer or angle grinder!! lol

easy as pie with a bit of WD40 of the bolt and a steering lock on a long extension bar as i dont have a breaker bar!
easy as pie, just waiting for the new stud and ill be on the road to get new tyres!

Have you found the reason for the snapped studs? If I were you I'd fit a whole new set of wheel studs as it's only a matter of time before the others may snap.
