Mines not as good as it looks its made of weld :( but it will be fine!

Tight enough gaps for you lot :D

Note to self use genuine front panel next time ! I needed 4 pairs of hands to wrestle it into place each time I welded!

I tryed the loads of clamps method but then realised all the clamps were covering the plug weld holes ! So I had to do it the hard way :(

Looking good, I have to say that the genuine panels aren't much better. My wing was 1/4 inch higher than the bonnet is, and we know that the car is not accident damaged as it had the original front panel and inner wing.

Yeh I have found they still require a lot of fettling to get them spot on. Maybe NOS austin/rover gen panels are better? See some on eBay from time to time

Right was about to start putting the d/s a panel on the I realised I don't know how they go at the top? Are they welded straight across or left and seam sealed?

You just run a seam of weld all the way along the top of the a-panel ryan, might be a good idea to trim the a-panel (height wise) down abit so your a-panel lines up with the wing seam

Looking progressive :D

Cheers

Cliff
