great work, when is it going for paint?

My mate from work will be coming here to do all the filler work and prep I will be priming it up and painting the inside and underside were it is. Top coat on the outside is a mystery still as I could use our booth at work or at my mates. Cheers mate!

nice work mate :) what's up with the bright green mini??? :/

That's my first car ex daily driver. I took it off the road shortly after I got the van due to crank oil seal blowing behind the clutch. Engines now out ready for rebuild to go in van! Eventually I will restore it as it has nasty over sills ( not fitted by me)

I want to see it for real! Lol

Update after a bit of a brake!
Sorted out the drip rail on the p/ s ! Just needs grinding down now. Also cleaned up the front seams and etched primed them to prevent further surface rust. Only have 2 panels left the mk1 switch panel and the p/s heel board to arch closing panel then it's ready for the floor to be cleaned up and painted before making it a rolling shell! Just need to get my arse in gear!

What's your plan with the engine side of things, is it all built ready?

And I have 2 1275 engines to use to build one for this van but need to sell my DT 125 to pay for all the shiny fast bits !

Well I figured I need one on the road so it makes me want to do the van more as the metro is nothing like a mini!

I have been doing some of the filler work today as I don't have a car at the moment cause I have killed this metro :D. Once I get this done I will start on the van again !
