Glad to see your back on the van again, I keep reading through this post as my van needs all the same sort of repairs, apart from yours has one big advantage i have bloody great holes in my roof lol

Not exactly as I've cut a big hole in the passengers side floor now.

Looks good, I think I spoke with you at the petrol station, I was driving the green pickup. Let me know when it is on the road, we should do a commercial Mini photoshoot!

yeah it is well i think it is lol no i have got a thread yet i will try and start one over the weekend i have told my self that i cant start the van until the sidewalk is done but i cant wait any longer lol you guys are making me want to get start with the first job of the floors :)

Update!
Today I cut the bulk of the bottom of the d/s door off ready for the repair peice to be double cut and welded on! I have run out of slitting discs tho do I can't do it yet!


Then I decided I may aswell rip the skin off the p/s one and realised its a bit far gone! :/

Pitted like this all along the top!

So I will be on the lookout for anouther better one at the next show! Minifair 2 probs! I will get some cutting discs and get the d/s one done in the meantime!!!!

Sweet I need a set of doors for mine, as so muppet has cut the bit metal pockets out see ya there lol

Wish I had gone with the bottom repair panels on my doors instead of fannying around with trying to make my own.

I got my repair panels from somorford mini they are pretty good but I still need to sort the drain tubes out like you have !

All can be made good with a lot of adjustment !!
