The fact they suggest a panoramic photo is something to get excited over is about 5 years late, my last 3 phones have been able to do that and my current phone - Galaxy S2 will do a panoramic action shots as well.

Even though I'm not a fan of iphones (or apple for that matter) i'm also disappointed with it. The only thing I like about it is the size and weight, but since Iphones are so fragile anyway, that may not be a good thing :/
My Dad, Brother and myself have had iPhones for the past 5 years and I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen 1st gen Iphones and 4Gs dropped and hit without breaking.
The last thing I'd describe an iPhones as is fragile.

It just makes me wonder if now its been made thinner and lighter if this has made it more fragile than before...

I read somewhere that Apple sold more 4s' than the iphone 4 and there was only tech changes.
Apple know they can 'drip feed' their customers and the product will sell.

I see the points about NFC, but it would be nice to incorporate things like your Oyster card on your phone etc.
Many people on sites like stuff.tv keep moaning that it is Samsung who provide the tech for Apple anyway etc and they all seem to be Apple haters on there. Samsung might provide a small amount of the hardware, but it is Apple that puts it altogether and makes good products.
I will no doubt end up sticking with iPhones. I have a MacBook Air which I love, and I still really want an iPad. I'm off to Afghan soon and don't want to risk the Air out there so I'll just take the iPad. With both of those, it makes no sense to switch to something else. It will probably be another 4S though instead of the 5.
As for findmyiphone, I have tried it (well a mate did) but when I lost it the battery was dead and so it wont work, which is a bit of a pain in the backside really.
I do think the new Nokias (Lumia 800 and 900) are probably the best looking phones aside from the 4 and 4S. The 5 for me is not that great.

I'm a bit of a Android fan and I'm disappointed with the Iphone5, I think of Apple as the competition and when they create a new technology it pushes the other manufactures to go one better. At the moment the Android manufactures are leading and apple are trying to catch up, most of the "new" features have been around for years.
Disagree. Lets be honest, Apple are still on top and definitely now with the 5 out soon
Edit: and I'm not just saying that because I use apple products, it's the truth. Apple make excellent products that perform awesome and look as good. I've used other top phones and computers, but it's always apple that are on top of the game

I agree the 4S does look great. I don't like the styling change they have made with the colour on the back. They have also made it slightly longer, in order to accomodate the screen. I'm not convinced it needed the bigger screen to be honest, and not at the expense of making the phone bigger (although it is now thinner).

However the iPhone 5. Is well rubbish. I'll wait for a 5s/6 or buy a 4s and get a cheaper contract. Im still using a 4 and i Love it :)
I don't like the android os and i dont like the phones.
