Not fun :(, I did the same a few years ago. If your door gaps are fine and there are no lumps in the floor pans, you should be able to get away with just a new front end. I would consider replacing the subby too, it's probably buckled.

My drivers door seems to have dropped a little

Is there any measurements I can take to check the subby and if there floor is pushed in how do I fix that?? Replace or knock out??

Thanks for the reply

Take it to a mini specialist or someone in your local club for advice - then do the job yourself! ;-)

Sorry to hear about the accident :(

I have no usefull advice for you but it's a sad sight! Especially as I've seen it in the flesh. Good Luck to you though!

Ouch!!

Pull the carpet up take some pictures of the floor and where the front subframe bolts to the body.

Its probably repairable with some new front panels.

I looked at the floors earlier but couldn't see anything buti'll take some photos.

It's hard to tell because theres surface rust :( and a previous owner has put seam sealer stuff everywhere!!

I'll be back with pics tomorrow morning.

My excuse to learn how to weld and maybe sort the other rust areas while im at it.

Hopefully my floor is Ok and then it's just replacing panels.

I dont know if you will be able to tell properly because of the rust around the mounts, there are no holes ive attacked it with a scew driver and it just needs a damn good clean up.
But i think it has pushed the floor back a little bit both sides, more so on the driver side.

Do i just straighten it and maybe weld some plates in cause i want to go solid mount anyway?
