Go over two at the same time, hitting both of the higher bits with your wheels = problem solved.

And it pisses off the person behind which is a plus :proud:

The ones I hate the absolute most are the ones commonly found in carparks.

These ones. My biggest nightmare.

[EDIT]Also, FFFFFFFFFFFFF going down that road!

Speed bumps are the enemy!

Living in London its a joke. I sometimes have a similar issue, if i cant go over the middle of 2 bumps, I just drive over them with two wheels.

Other than that, I try to avoid roads that I know have bumps.

So you're trying to do 30mph over speed bumps in a mini and don't think its fair you can't? Speed limits are maximum limits, not gauranteed minimum speeds or targets.

Seriously though, you're driving a mini and are complaining speed bumps are slowing you down. What do you think they are for?

try reading the original post, i go over them at 15mph, and the cushions i cant go over properly at all. What i said is its hardly unreasonable to want to be able to go the speed limit. IF they want people to go slower drop the speed limit.

I'm just off out to check my exhaust is all proper. i am 99% sure it is but its worth checking.

I'd say 15's a bit quick, I try not to exceed 10mph.

Speed bumps are not good for most classic cars. Whilst a Mini is not ideal, nor is an MGB, E-Type,Sprite, Healey 3000 and so on.
Remember, it's our choice to have classics and we have to live with their limitations all the time.
Minis are no worse than other classics so long as they are not lowered and have decent dampers. Think how well they go through rough forest tracks on gravel and that's more bumpy than any speed bump road.
A Mini will not cope with speed bumps like modern cars which have long-travel compliant suspension.
You just have to live with it and try to drive accordingly if you wish to drive a classic car.
