Bit of an update:
 
         I've done just over 300 miles so it was time to change the oil. I emptied the old oil filter to check for any big chunks of metal and it all looks good, just fine particles as you would expect from run in.
 
         As hard as I tried to drive it gently during run in the red mist got the better of me a few times so I'm going with the school of thought that running it in hard helps bed the rings in best due to the high combustion pressures forcing the rings against the bores.
 
         Fingers crossed I've had no problems at all so far, the only thing I have done is move the cooling fan switch to the bottom hose as it regulates the temperature better.
 
         New seats came from a member on here and are MG ZS seats on custom Cobra subframes so they tilt and slide perfectly. The rear seat was made by an upholsterer on a mini base. The door cards and floor mats came from the Brooklands show and the steering wheel was second hand from a local club member.

That interior is the perfect touch to this build. And that engine looks like it was made for the car. I have seen alot of engine conversions but this has to be one of the tidiest i have seen.

That goes really well! Looks like a bit of a handful when you pull away quickly!!

 

One thing i wondered, what is the whining noise that goes on all the way through the Vid?

 

Very good though, i would love to have a go in this!!  Might have to do one in the future.

The noise is the fuel pump, it doesn't quite sound that loud, for some reason the camera amplifies it at bit.

wow , heaps of power and quiet too, well done! maybe some fatter wheels to help with the handling maybe ? or is there hi los in there , looks like its loosing traction when you nail it. Im sure someone else will have a better idea. but great mate you should be proud of this beast.
