The front valance was already drilled and i used the brakets that come with the original spots when i got it theres a stud at the back that goes in the valance hole and the other end has a slot in it and it attaches to the bumper bolt if that makes sense

Yeah no worries Steve, i do understand that that type of bracket is for mounting then to the door hinges, obviously not a mini haha but something as a police search light type of thing, would explain the clear lense i guess

I've only gone and made some damn progress!!
Well the weather has graced me with its clear skyed days and i've made the most of them to capitalise on progress and made the ruddy most of it!
Pretty pleasd with todays progress and done a few other bits and bats im not going to post about as theres no oint uploading big pictures of each welded arae along the bulkhead im doing little by litte............Anyway!, today i got back at 1ish and started straight on it after the 2 and a half mile walk home so already been for a little nap just now haa.
Re-fabricated that inner wing stiffener thing and played about with it till i got what i was happy with comparing to the other original side and welded in place and litraly just about finished and.....................................
Gas ran out.... so thats all a could do welding wise for now.
so i moved onto the rear which i hadn't seen for a while with it being crammed in at the side of the garage and the weather has taked its toll on the poor bumper lip :)
Gave it a wire wheeling and came up ok but still will need work, and then spryed in etch primer (ran out of zinc on the front).
And let the tyre pressures down on the rear and put some half decent wheels on the front that hold air as to make the water run back down the gutters as its been running down the gutters fromt the rear (which is un-sheeted) and overflowing down the A-post and into the interior .
Till next time...
