I got this when I took the A4 in for service. Problem is I had to give it back :(

That's a clever ploy. You like it and it will put a little seed in your head. You'll buy a new car sooner than planned and get the Q5? instead of another A4, thus spending more money. Especially when you add a few extras.

I have been looking at the early X5s just recently. Quite a lot of car for the money, even if they are over 10 years old now.

I liked everything about it apart from the fuel economy and the price. Plus audi Q drivers are c@&£s.

Nice sweeping generalization there...

Mazda 6 2.2 diesel. Mapped to produce 202 bhp and 400nm of torque. It returns 60+ mpg at 70mph.

No it's not. They are. And a large majority of the X3,5 & 6 drivers are as well.

Don't feel the need to justify yourself Ben! You worked hard to get it sorted. I drive a Focus and have a defunct Rover 25 on the drive. Don't worry about posh. I have driven a few newer cars recently and still much prefer the older ones.

Yep. Including an X6 I saw this morning run red lights whilst the driver was on their mobile. Sounds like stereotyping however I'm yet to find a driver of such vehicle that sticks to any Highway Code.

Haha!!!

It was only on the last page that you stated you were looking for an X5!

I suppose you are in the minority of not being a c@&£ though eh?

As an X5 driver I totally agree ! Most of them are driven by complete morons.
You are treated with complete contempt by every other road user, I have never owned a car that makes you so hated by other people.

I would like to think that I'm not your average X5 driver, I'm a high grade driving instructor and fleet driving trainer! So you won't see me on my phone or driving through red lights.

But in fairness my x5 is a great car, 365 bhp , massive boot to get all the kids crap in, and more gadgets than you could ever want or need. And as it's a few years old it was stupidly good value .
