Right now I'm struggling to get the front bumper Off!!

Removed all screws I can see but it seems there's something holding it at each corner where it curves just under the lights or by them

Ok got the bumper Off now :)

Two bolts underneath, one either side which screws into the wing and then 4 under the grill

If you mean just the black handles inside then I can just chuck those in, or the actual adjuster part and then you can use your normal mirrors since my spares are black. I think it'd probably cost about £20 but I've never couriered an exhaust before.

The actual adjuster part (that the black handle attatches to has snapped) the metal has snapped.

If you can get a price to post the mirrors and backbox and it's not crazy money I'll take them off your hands :D

I'm sure I can sort something just for the handles if you'd prefer

It's a resistor for the headlamps

i have discussed the "best way" to get a car that appears to be a mk1 with a vvc engine in it a few times now.

personally i think the best way to do it would be to buy a cheap car that is already converted and swap the panels, as basically it wouldnt be anywhere near as involved. all the wiring, and heavy mauling is already done, and all your doing is cosmetic work.

having said that a rover metro is a good few inches longer at the front, if you measure from the back of the bonnet forwards on both cars its quite a bit, i doubt the exhaust downpipe will fit behind the mk1 front panel, however it would be possible to just use the outer-front panel and make a box section frame up.

but this is just my opinion!

I am but its okay

Iv decided to just leave the mirror without adjusters

Seems quite common for them to snap so I'll not bother with them and just cover the holes somehow

Rover-100-1995-1998-Drivers-Side-Manual-

The adjuster part in the middle is what has snapped off

I went to a local guy with parts and his spares are the same

If you have a pair that aren't snapped though I'd happily take them off your hands

I have quite a few metro parts (from a "Nightfire" if thats different) which came off of a shell without a roof, listed it all on here a while back with no takers for about £50 for the lot, also have a K-series still in its subby with drivetrain there..

(Sorry to hijack but it might be of use to you guys as i only havve a mk1 metro and really have no use or want for this lot of clutter)
