Actually the lowered! (gaz lowered)

There seems to be enough travel in them at this ride height. I had intended visiting http://www.calverst....per_lengths.htm and making sure.

Though all input welcome.

you can always take damper off but mark it first and see what the travel is

I have some of the bump stop cut away and got about slide a finger in there

Think about it, if the radius is bigger the car sits higher...

What he is saying I think is that a 12" rim and tyre may not have a bigger rolling radius than a 10" combination -

So he stated wrong and should have seen the link i posted

Did read the link, and looked at the comparison of 10, 12 and 13 tyres.  And yes, the rolling radius of available tyres for the mini don't allow an exact match of rolling radius, so they'll sit at slightly different heights, didn't look like very much though, between 12 and 13 I think it was 0.25cm.

I wasn't saying you were wrong or anything.  If the radius of the wheel + tyre is bigger then yes, the car will sit higher.  if it's the exactly the same, then it will sit the same.

We're talking about 13" and 10" that difference is 0.8", reduce it a bit for low tyre pressure and you'll sill have about 15mm difference in ride height

The nominal rolling radius difference between 175/50 x 13 and 167/70 x 10 is 10.1 mm.  This represents 3.05% difference in speedo reading. tyre wear can cause around 1.75%, so it's not really much difference really.
