1994 monte carlo

is there a fuse i can take out to get rid of dim dip or do i have to snip a wire ? i dont realy wont to snip a wire :(

reallllllyyyyyyyyyyyy ? how come i see some cars driveing around with little lights on? not day light running lights becasue the cars a to old, they just have basic side lights on because the light is so small ?

Hang on just found that they did away with it being law in 1998 due to some eu legislation

sde lights dim dip CAN be removed, just disconnect it at the headlight end...

You need to join the blue-brown and blue-red wires or you will have no dipped lights. It is best removed, as if it fails the lights can go out suddenly.

the thing with cooling fins on it ? thats kinda looks like its outa a p.c? is that where the b/b and b/r wires are or the red/orange relay ?

Correct, its not needed. 

 

Just disconnect the resistor plug - simple as that, no messing with other wires.

rite so thats it! just unplug it ? but if my lights go dead in the future like the otehr guy said that could be a cause ?

  Unplug the resistor or (better plan) remove the resistor fuse and tape the fuse holder up or (best plan) remove the resistor fuse and relay and bypass the circuit in the relay base as said above.  There is a plug-in block that does this which can be found in many Montegos in scrap yards, or you can make a nice heavy duty jumper wire with spades to put in the relay base.
