not sure if auckland auto works (AAA) are still in lake road up between takapuna and devonport but they had a nice disk/drum lathe if you want to take the lip off that way

Thanks for all the replies guys.
Maybe it is the pistons. They seemed to stick out about 1cm from the rubber seal. Is that normal? I also noticed one had a slight leak.

Possibly the pistons have stuck out a bit and need pushing back, Take a look at the pictures of the correct part on Minispares website and compare to how yours look. the very early type do not stick out much but the later ones do as far as i recall.

If they are leaking at all replace them
