Oh dear, its been almost a week...

 

Cut a patch of rust out and repaired it, its not copmpletely finished, but close enough for now.

Roof has been sanded back to metal, it needs a final hand sand before I can get some etch on there

Long time without posting...
 

I got the car on the road for the Retro Fundraising show :) (excuse the food box)

 

 

Since the show, ive cleaned up the engine :)

 

 

 

Removed several sills and replaced and new floors :)

 

 

New door step to go in this weekend :)

Wow, I really am rubbish at updating this, shell is now almost solid, front end on and almost ready for paint :)

Bit more of an update... last post was in july and said almost ready for paint... still no paint!

Being incredibly fussy on the panels and now the final prep has begun :)

So I took it off the road to do the rear valance...

so far...

 

New doors, front end, sills, floors, boot and rear valance, repairs to rear arches, bought alloys... then sold them as I will put steels on (more on that another time) lots of shiny bits, stainless rc40, handles, boot hinges, indicator covers,  bumpers, radio, walnut dash, grille

Seat retrim, steering wheel and fingers crossed some paint!

This is coming along nicely :)

Now back on all 4 wheels, steering attached and rolling :) must adjust the handbrake next so I can push it out the garage and down the slope without crashing!

 

Engine and box have been split to replace baulk rings as I had an issue with going into 2nd when it was on the road... oh and I might be buying another one tonight...
