Me again! Becoming a habit!!
Lets start with the scraping. It sounds like its in behind the bulkhead and only occurs when the clutch is pressed down fully or its out of gear and the car has to be moving. The scrape is occurs once per rotation of the wheels.
Then there's the occasional knocking noise which doesn't appear to be the exhaust. There's something hitting the floor at the front, could this be the gearing linkage as there's about 2cm of movement up and down and left and right...
Cheers in advance

Could be a number of things from your description,
Scraping
Possible stone or object stuck between the brake shield and disc,
Outer cv joint drive shaft,
Knocking
Worn gearbox mounts,
Worn engine mounts,
Worn engine steadies
Clutch release bearing
