Found some stainless pipe joiners that will do for the top hose.

My steering rack gaiters had some great clips on the small end but they broke and no one I spoke to at the IMM knew about them.

While looking for some cable wrap (counduit) I found some.

On a side note.

I might start it tomorrow.

Well today was interesting, frustrating and satisfying.

Could not get any oil pressure on cranking. Very odd. As I had primed the pump as well.

Thought I will check the relief valve. Clear. Ok let's take the oil pressure hose of and have a quick crank. Yep spurted all over the rag.

To confuse the issue I could hear oil coming out of the rockers.

Ok back to the old screw in gauge direct to the block. Yes I have pressure. So why was the guage in the car not showing anything?

Disconnect and try blowing down the hose.nada. Compressor. Nada.

Ok what have I changed since last time. A 90 degree connector to the guage. Let's just say all fixed now.

You can see the screw in pressure guage.
